The draft agenda of the meeting, which will last for one and a half days, has also been published. The workshop, which will include various different presentations and roundtables, aims to facilitate the exchange of experiences and examples of VFES in the pan-European region, both at regional and national level.

Two working groups will also be organized during the meeting. One of them will focus on how to make VFES a core element in National Forest Programmes. The other will focus on how to overcome difficulties related to the VFES and the development of initiatives related to this.

Delegates from FOREST EUROPE signatory countries and observers, universities and research institutions and professionals involved in the design and implementation of projects related to the valuation of ecosystem services, especially in the pan-European region, are welcome to attend this meeting.

The workshop will be held on 24-25 September in Belgrade, Serbia. It will be hosted by the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management.
